Transportation:
- Speedboat from airport to Maafushi is expensive (150 USD per way). If you want to save money, may opt for public ferry. Please note that ferry is not available on Friday and it takes longer time to reach your destination. Alternatively, you can check from travel forum if anyone travel same time with you. Discuss with the person and share speedboat cost with them 🙂
- Ferry from airport to Maafushi is cheaper (1-2 USD only). Please check their timetable (http://www.mtcc.com.mv/sites/default/files/Premium-Link-Ferry-Schedule-2016.jpg).
- Taxi in Male town
